Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: April 2026

Our Commitment

CyberDr3k Studios Inc. is committed to ensuring that thewickedwest.com and all associated services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of this site and its tools in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.

What We Are Doing

  • Using semantic HTML and proper heading hierarchy throughout the site
  • Ensuring keyboard navigation is supported across all pages
  • Providing descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
  • Maintaining color contrast ratios that meet or exceed 4.5:1 for normal text
  • Avoiding content that flashes or strobes in ways known to cause seizures
  • Providing clear focus indicators for interactive elements
  • Using ARIA labels where appropriate for screen reader compatibility

Platform Tools

The following tools are in active development and accessibility improvements are ongoing:

  • The Dead Man's File (Character Sheet Engine) — keyboard-navigable form controls with labeled inputs across all five tabs
  • The Marshal's Ledger (GM Toolbox) — campaign management panels with accessible form elements and status indicators
  • The Scriptorium (Homebrew Publishing Tool) — markdown editor with keyboard shortcuts and resizable panels. Hosted at scriptorium.thewickedwest.com.
  • The Saloon (Community Forum) — threaded discussions with proper heading structure and navigable thread lists

Full accessibility compliance for all tools is a stated goal and is being addressed as development progresses. We welcome feedback on specific barriers encountered.

Known Limitations

  • Some interactive components in The Dead Man's File and The Marshal's Ledger may not yet have full screen reader support
  • The Scriptorium's live preview panel relies on visual rendering that may not be fully accessible to screen readers
  • PDF export and print layouts are visual-first and may not produce accessible PDF documents

We are actively working to address these limitations.
