Terms & Conditions

1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

2. The Service

thewickedwest.com and scriptorium.thewickedwest.com are operated by CyberDr3k Studios Inc. and provide access to The Wicked West: Frontier of Shadows TTRPG platform, including digital tools, community forums, and content gated by subscription tier.

3. Subscription Tiers

Access to features is determined by your active subscription tier:

  • Drifter (Free): Character Sheet Engine (The Dead Man's File) with 3 saved character slots and print-ready sheets
  • Gunslinger ($5/mo CAD): All Drifter features plus The Marshal's Ledger (GM Toolbox), The Saloon (community forum), 10 character slots, and PDF exports
  • Marshal ($10/mo CAD): All Gunslinger features plus The Scriptorium (homebrew publishing tool), unlimited character slots, and all platform apps

Subscriptions are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD) through Stripe on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

4. Digital Goods

All products and services delivered through this platform are digital in nature. No physical goods are included in any subscription tier. Access to gated features is contingent on maintaining an active, paid subscription in good standing.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including but not limited to game system text, lore, artwork, application code, and tooling — is the exclusive property of CyberDr3k Studios Inc. and its licensors, unless otherwise noted in the Credits & Attribution section below.

6. User-Generated Content

Content you create using our tools — including character sheets, campaign data, homebrew documents, and forum posts — remains your intellectual property. By posting content in The Saloon community forum, you grant CyberDr3k Studios Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the community. You may delete your own posts at any time.

Homebrew content created in The Scriptorium belongs entirely to you. We claim no ownership over your creative work.

7. Community Code of Conduct

All users participating in community features including The Saloon are subject to our Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning at the sole discretion of CyberDr3k Studios Inc. and its appointed moderators.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute any proprietary game content
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription gating or authentication
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
  • Harass, bully, threaten, or demean other users in any community space
  • Post content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination
  • Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial content

9. Account Termination

CyberDr3k Studios Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or the Code of Conduct, without notice or refund. Users may close their own account at any time by contacting info@thewickedwest.com.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CyberDr3k Studios Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this platform or its content.

11. Credits & Attribution

The Wicked West: Frontier of Shadows is built on a modified foundation inspired by the 5th Edition System Reference Document (5E SRD 5.1), released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) by Wizards of the Coast. The Wicked West is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. All original mechanics, lore, and content are the property of CyberDr3k Studios Inc.

The Scriptorium homebrew publishing tool was inspired by The Homebrewery, an open-source project by NaturalCrit. The Scriptorium is an independently developed application and is not affiliated with NaturalCrit or The Homebrewery project. We acknowledge and appreciate their contribution to the TTRPG community.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to your registered address with a minimum of 30 days notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
