Code of Conduct
Last Updated: April 2026
The Law of the Frontier
The Wicked West is a community built by its players and Game Marshals. Every person who steps through these doors deserves to feel safe, respected, and welcome at the table. This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces operated by CyberDr3k Studios Inc., including The Saloon forum, blog comments, and any future community features.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and hateful behavior. The frontier is dark enough without bringing real cruelty into it.
1. Respect Everyone at the Table
Treat every member of this community with dignity and respect. Disagreements happen. Debates are welcome. But there is a hard line between passionate discussion and personal attacks. Stay on the right side of it.
- No personal attacks, insults, or name-calling
- No mocking or belittling other players, their characters, or their playstyle
- No gatekeeping — new players are welcome, always
- Critique ideas, not people
2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to:
- Bullying, intimidation, or threatening language
- Sexual harassment or unwelcome sexual content
- Stalking, doxxing, or sharing personal information without consent
- Targeted or sustained campaigns against another user
- Deliberately misgendering or deadnaming another user
3. No Hate Speech or Discrimination
This community has no room for hatred. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of bigotry
- Slurs, derogatory language, or coded hate speech
- Content that promotes violence against any group or individual
- Extremist ideologies, symbols, or propaganda
In-character roleplay does not excuse out-of-character hatred. If your character's behavior would make another player at the table uncomfortable, it doesn't belong here either.
4. Keep It Appropriate
- No explicit sexual content or graphic violence beyond what the game setting requires
- No spam, advertising, or self-promotion without moderator approval
- No piracy, sharing of copyrighted materials, or links to illegal content
- Keep discussions on-topic within their respective forum categories
5. Respect the Marshals
Our moderators and administrators volunteer their time to keep this community safe and welcoming. Their decisions are final. If you disagree with a moderation action, you may appeal by contacting info@thewickedwest.com. Do not argue with moderators in public threads.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this Code of Conduct will be addressed through the following enforcement tiers at the sole discretion of CyberDr3k Studios Inc. and its appointed moderators:
- First Offense — Warning: The offending content will be removed and the user will receive a written warning explaining the violation.
- Second Offense — Temporary Suspension: The user's account will be suspended for a period determined by the moderation team. Community access will be revoked during this period.
- Third Offense — Permanent Ban: The user's account will be permanently terminated. No refund will be issued for any active subscription.
- Severe Violations — Immediate Ban: Threats of violence, doxxing, hate speech, or any behavior that endangers the safety of another user will result in immediate and permanent banning without prior warning.
7. Reporting
If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, report it immediately. You can report issues in the following ways:
- Contact a moderator or administrator directly through The Saloon
- Email info@thewickedwest.com with details of the incident
All reports will be reviewed promptly and handled confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith is itself a violation and will be treated accordingly.
8. The Spirit of the Frontier
The Wicked West is a game about dark choices, moral ambiguity, and the weight of the oaths we swear. The stories we tell at the table can be grim, haunting, and intense. But the people behind the characters are real, and they deserve real respect.
Build something worth playing. Build a community worth belonging to. That's the law of this frontier.
