Myths, Rumors & Unresolved Questions
The Wicked West separates fact from belief. Some things are confirmed. Some are institutional interpretations. Some accounts conflict. Some questions are deliberately left unanswered so campaigns can discover their own truth.
Canon material distinguishes between confirmed canon, documented fact, institutional belief, disputed accounts, and deliberate mysteries. A rumor is not automatically false, and an institution is not automatically correct because it has survived for centuries.
